Was there Corruption? Was there Collusion?
Was There Conspiracy whereby many that were NOT the Creditors - Investors (Victims) and were not the Summit Principals ( Irresponsible Greedy Men who Lost their Money) Made Huge Money from the Demise of Others, with no accountability and I have heard that there will NEVER be real transparency as the Records of What David Aman, Tonkon Torp LLP, Obsidian Finance Group and Kevin Padrick actually made in the Summit 1031 Bankruptcy are seemingly sealed forever.
Keep in mind a bankruptcy trustee makes a commission on the assets they sell and I believe so does the DOJ Trustee, and if .. IF .. by any chance there are OTHER deals where there will be future favors or gains by those who get the assets that the Trustee That Obsidian Finance Group, Kevin Padrick turns over to them seemingly not based in law or in bankruptcy code but in who Obsidian Finance Group, Kevin Padrick feels is best, I believe for his personal gain.
It is not by coincidence, in my Opinion that Obsidian Renewables, the Outback Solar Project and the Lake County Oregon Solar Farms sprung up during the time that Obsidian Finance Group, Kevin Padrick and David Brown were raking in all that money from the demise, stress, and life's work of the Summit 1031 Bankruptcy Victims (Creditors and Investors)
Also Note, I Believe that the DOJ Trustee makes a commission of assets sold as well, Freedom of Information should get you that information from Pamela Griffith and/or the Department of Justice. The U.S Trustee (Contact information at the Bottom of this Post.) Lots of money to made when companies like Summit 1031, Summit Accomodators goes bankrupt. And the Victims, in this case the Creditors, Investors, Real Estate Owners.. well they seem to have no rights at all.

The Details of the Summit 1031 Bankruptcy is, to me, a Model of Possible Corruption that fits every single bankruptcy. Since writing on the Summit 1031 Bankruptcy I have heard similar stories of lack of transparency in the Bankruptcy Courts and the Department of Justice Trustee seems to NOT being doing their job or even connected to the Trustee that is supposed to be working on behalf of those who lost everything when the company went bankrupt.
Often the Big Corporations that go Bankrupt simply restructure under a different name and the Victims never do get made "Whole". The Summit 1031 Bankruptcy taught me how the Bankruptcy Courts work and the mass amounts of ways that there is possible corruption, easy over billing by attorneys involved and often times even judges that are possibly paid off and the Department of Justice Trustee simply looks the other way for various reasons.
In the Summit 1031 Bankruptcy the Department of Justice Trustee that was to be looking in on all this on behalf of the Highest Fiduciary Honor, well Pamela Griffith is Connected to Tonkon Torp Law Firm, and use to work with Leon Simson - one of the Big Wigs at Tonkon Torp Law Firm and Steven Hedberg Attorney for the Creditor's Committee worked with Obsidian Finance Group's Kevin Padrick and David Brown at Miller Nash. The Conflicts of Interest are Obvious and it is sad, but seemingly true - No one is really looking at what happens in the very BIG Business of Bankruptcy, the Judges don't seem to know bankruptcy laws, the FBI seems to admit that they don't monitor bankruptcy laws, the DOJ folks are connected to the Trustee, the District Courts seem to let the Attorney Fraternity lead them and do all they can to Silence Insiders and Whistleblower, and the Federal Courts are just to darn busy to even look into it. So the Creditors and Investors are left with no rights, no voice, no oversight, and when anyone speaks out they are sued, set up, arrested, harassed, silenced in some way.
And the Cycle Continues.
